BeitenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofthestateofMissouri,asfollows:
SectionA.Section478.550,RSMo,isrepealedandonenewsectionenactedinlieu
2thereof,tobeknownassection478.550,toreadasfollows:
478.550.1.Thereshallbefourcircuitjudgesinthetwenty-thirdjudicialcircuit
2consistingofthecountyofJefferson.Thesejudgesshallsitindivisionsnumberedone,two,
3threeandfour.BeginningonJanuary1,2007,thereshallbesixcircuitjudgesinthetwenty-
4thirdjudicialdistrictandthesejudgesshallsitindivisionsnumberedone,two,three,four,
5five,andsix.Thedivisionelevenassociatecircuitjudgepositionandthedivisiontwelve
6associatecircuitjudgeshallbecomecircuitjudgepositionsbeginningJanuary1,2007.The
7divisionelevenassociatecircuitjudgeshallbenumberedasdivisionfiveandthedivision
8twelveassociatecircuitjudgeshallbenumberedasdivisionsix.
9 2.Thecircuitjudgeindivisionthreeshallbeelectedin1980.Thecircuitjudgesin
10divisionsoneandfourshallbeelectedin1982.Thecircuitjudgeindivisiontwoshallbe
11electedin1984.Thecircuitjudgesindivisionsfiveandsixshallbeelectedforasix-year
12termin2006.
13 3.BeginningJanuary1,2007,thefamilycourtcommissionerpositioninthetwenty-
14thirdjudicialdistrictappointedundersection487.020shallbecomeanassociatecircuitjudge
15positioninallrespectsandshallbedesignatedasdivisioneleven.Thispositionmayretain
16thedutiesandresponsibilitieswithregardtothefamilycourt.Theassociatecircuitjudgein
17divisionelevenshallbeelectedin2006forafullfour-yearterm.Thisassociatecircuit

25associatecircuitjudgeshipshallnotbeincludedinthestatutoryformulaforauthorizing
