SectionA.Chapter171,RSMo,isamendedbyaddingtheretoonenewsection,tobe
2knownassection171.216,toreadasfollows:
171.216.1.Eachschooldistrictandcharterschoolthatcurrentlyuses,has
2withinthepastyearused,orinthefuturebeginstouseatutoringprogramorservice
3withatleastafifty-percentownershipinterestheldoutsidetheUnitedStatesshallnotify
4theparentofeachstudentenrolledinsuchschooldistrictorcharterschool.
5 2.Suchnoticeshallcontain:
6 (1)Thenameofthetutoringprogramorservice;
7 (2)Adisclosureoftheownerholdingamajorityownershipinterestinsuch
8tutoringprogramorservice;and
9 (3)WhethersuchownerisbasedinacountrydesignatedbytheU.S.Department
10ofStateasaCountryofParticularConcern(CPC)asofthefirstdayoftheschoolyear
11inwhichthenoticeisposted.
12 3.Eachschooldistrictandcharterschoolshallpostsuchnotice:
13 (1)Ontheschooldistrict'sorcharterschool'swebsite;and
14 (2)Withinanyapplicationorsoftwaretheschooldistrictorcharterschooluses
15inconjunctionwiththetutoringprogramorserviceownedbyanentityhavingatleasta
16fifty-percentownershipinterestheldoutsideoftheUnitedStates.
