2thereof,tobeknownassection77.150,toreadasfollows:
77.150.Inadditiontootherpowers,themayorandcouncilofcitiesofthethirdclass
2areherebyauthorizedandempoweredtoacquirebygift,devise,purchaseorcondemnation,
3withinsuchcitiesorwithinamilethereof,suchrealandpersonalpropertyasmaybe
4necessaryordesirableforthepurposeoftheerectionorconstructionofdams,lakeandflood
5protectionsystems,bathhouses,therapeuticbathhouses,mineralwatervendinghousesandin
6connectiontherewith,auditoriumsandlectureroomsandforthelayingofpipelinesforthe
7distributionofmineralwatersandtosoacquire,improveandoperatemineralspringsand
8wells,andtoconstructallnecessaryandappropriatebuildingsandworkstherefor,andtodo
9anyandallthingsnecessarytomaintainandoperatesaidpropertiessoacquiredand
10constructedasaself-liquidatingrevenueproducingpublicproject,andforthatpurposeto
11leaseorconveythesame[; providedsuchpropertiesshallbesoacquired,constructedand
12thereaftermaintainedandoperatedwithoutincreasingtheindebtednessofsuchcityandshall
