[56.265.1.Thecountyprosecutingattorneyinanycounty,otherthan
2 inacharteredcounty,shallreceiveanannualsalarycomputedusingthe
3 followingschedule,whenapplicable.Theassessedvaluationfactorshallbe
4 theamountthereofasshownfortheyearimmediatelyprecedingtheyearfor
5 whichthecomputationisdone.
6 (1)Forafull-timeprosecutortheprosecutorshallreceive
7 compensationequaltothecompensationofanassociatecircuitjudge;

34 circuitattorneyofanycitynotwithinacounty.
35 4.Theprosecutingattorneyofanycountywhichbecomesacountyof
36 thefirstclassificationduringafour-yeartermofofficeoracountywhich
37 passedthepropositionauthorizedbysubsection1ofsection56.363shallnot
38 berequiredtodevotefulltimetosuchofficepursuanttosection56.067until
39 thebeginningoftheprosecutingattorney'snexttermofofficeoruntilthe
40 propositionotherwisebecomeseffective.
41 5.Theprovisionsofsection56.066shallnotapplytofull-time
42 prosecutorswhoarecompensatedpursuanttosubdivision(1)ofsubsection1

56.265.1.Thecountyprosecutingattorneyinanycounty,otherthaninachartered

23attorney'sofficewhenapprovedbyaprofessionalassociationofthecountyprosecuting
24attorneysofMissouriunlessexemptedfromthetrainingbytheprofessionalassociation.The
25professionalassociationapprovingtheprogramshallprovideacertificateofcompletionto
26eachprosecutingattorneywhocompletesthetrainingprogramandshallsendalistof
27certifiedprosecutingattorneystothetreasurerofeachcounty.Expensesincurredfor
28attendingthetrainingsessionmaybereimbursedtothecountyprosecutingattorneyinthe
29samemannerasotherexpensesasmaybeappropriatedforthatpurpose.
30 3.Asusedinthissection,theterm"prosecutingattorney"includesthecircuitattorney
31ofanycitynotwithinacounty.
32 4.Theprosecutingattorneyofanycountywhichbecomesacountyofthefirst
33classificationduringafour-yeartermofofficeoracountywhichpassedtheproposition
34authorizedbysection56.363shallnotberequiredtodevotefulltimetosuchofficepursuant
35tosection56.067untilthebeginningoftheprosecutingattorney'snexttermofofficeoruntil
36thepropositionotherwisebecomeseffective.
37 5.Theprovisionsofsection56.066shallnotapplytofull-timeprosecutorswhoare
38compensatedpursuanttosubdivision(1)ofsubsection1ofthissection.
39 6.Thestateshallreimburse,throughanappropriation,atleastthirtypercentof
40thesalaryoftheprosecutingattorneyineachcountyofthethirdclassificationas
