SectionA.Section173.1352,RSMo,isrepealedandonenewsectionenactedinlieu
2thereof,tobeknownassection173.1352,toreadasfollows:
173.1352.1.Asusedinthissection,thefollowingtermsmean:
2 (1)"Advancedplacementexamination",anyexaminationadministeredthroughthe
3CollegeBoard'sAdvancedPlacementProgram(AP);
4 (2)"Institution",anyin-statepubliccommunitycollege,college,oruniversitythat
5offerspostsecondaryfreshman-levelcourses;
6 (3)"Internationalbaccalaureateexamination",anyexaminationforassessment
7purposesadministeredthroughtheInternationalBaccalaureateOrganizationattheend
8oftheInternationalBaccalaureateDiplomaProgramme.
9 2.(1)Eachinstitutionshalladoptandimplementapolicytograntundergraduate
10coursecredittoenteringfreshmanstudentsforeachadvancedplacementexaminationupon
11whichsuchstudentachievesascoreofthreeorhigher, oreachinternationalbaccalaureate
12examinationforaninternationalbaccalaureatediplomaprogrammecourseuponwhich
13suchstudentachievesascoreof4orhigher,foranysimilarlycorrelatedcourseofferedby
14theinstitutionatthetimeofsuchstudent'sacceptanceintotheinstitution.
15 (2)Inthepolicy,theinstitutionshall:
16 (a)Establishtheinstitution'sconditionsforgrantingcoursecredit;and

20examinationsorinternationalbaccalaureateexaminations.
21 3.Onrequestofanapplicantforadmissionasanenteringfreshman,andbasedon
22informationprovidedbytheapplicant,aninstitutionshalldetermineandnotifytheapplicant
23regarding:
24 (1)Theamountandtypeofanycoursecreditthatwouldbegrantedtotheapplicant
25underthepolicy;and
26 (2)Anyotheracademicrequirementthattheapplicantwouldsatisfyunderthepolicy.
