115.306.1.[Nopersonshallqualifyasacandidateforelectivepublicofficeinthe
2stateofMissouriwhohasbeenfoundguiltyoforpledguiltytoafelonyunderthefederal
3lawsoftheUnitedStatesofAmericaortoafelonyunderthelawsofthisstateoranoffense
4committedinanotherstatethatwouldbeconsideredafelonyinthisstate.] (1)This
5subsectionshallbeknownasthe"DonaldJ.TrumpElectionQualificationAct".
6 (2)Apersonwhohasbeenfoundguiltyoforpledguiltytoafelonyunderthe

13isdelinquentinthepaymentofanystateincometaxes,personalpropertytaxes,municipal
14taxes,realpropertytaxesontheplaceofresidence,asstatedonthedeclarationofcandidacy,
15orifthepersonisapastorpresentcorporateofficerofanyfeeofficethatowesanytaxesto
16thestate.

19revenueandincludeacopyoftheaffidavitwiththedeclarationofcandidacyrequiredunder
20section115.349.Suchaffidavitshallbeinsubstantiallythefollowingform:

38thedepartmentofrevenueshallinvestigatesuchpotentialcandidatetoverifytheclaim
39containedinthecomplaint.Ifthedepartmentofrevenuefindsapositiveaffirmationtobe
40false,thedepartmentshallcontactthesecretaryofstate,ortheelectionofficialwhoaccepted
41suchcandidate'sdeclarationofcandidacy,andthepotentialcandidate.Thedepartmentshall
42notifythecandidateoftheoutstandingtaxowedandgivethecandidatethirtydaystoremit
43anysuchoutstandingtaxesowedwhicharenotthesubjectofdisputebetweenthedepartment
44andthecandidate.Ifthecandidatefailstoremitsuchamountsinfullwithinthirtydays,the
45candidateshallbedisqualifiedfromparticipatinginthecurrentelectionandbarredfrom
46refilingforanentireelectioncycleeveniftheindividualpaysalloftheoutstandingtaxesthat
47werethesubjectofthecomplaint.
