SectionA.Chapter192,RSMo,isamendedbyaddingtheretoonenewsection,tobe
2knownassection192.2155,toreadasfollows:
192.2155.1.Thedivisionofsenioranddisabilityserviceswithinthedepartment
2ofhealthandseniorservicesshallestablishadementiaservicescoordinatorasafull-
3timeposition.
4 2.Thedementiaservicescoordinatorshall:
5 (1)Evaluatethecoordinationofdementiaserviceswithinthisstate;
6 (2)CoordinateinformationresourcesaffectingMissourianslivingwithdementia
7andtheircaregivers.Suchcoordinationshallinclude,butnotbelimitedto:
8 (a)Usingdementia-relateddatatocoordinatewaystoimprovepublichealth
9outcomesandservicedeliveryforpersonswithAlzheimer'sdiseaseorrelateddementia;
10 (b)Establishingandmaintainingrelationshipswithotheragencies,providers,
11andorganizationswithinthestateinordertomeettheneedsofaffectedpopulationsand
12preventtheduplicationofservices;
13 (c)Supportingtheprovisionofdementia-specificstafftrainingacrossall
14relevantstateagencies,includinglawenforcement,thedepartmentofhealthandsenior
15services,andotherorganizations;and
16 (d)Recommendingstrategiestoimprovecoordinationofdementia-related
17servicesandresourcesprovidedbypublicandprivateentities;
