Currently,theDepartmentofHealthandSeniorServicesisrequired
toconductatleastoneinspectionperyearforallresidential
carefacilities,assistedlivingfacilities,intermediatecare
facilities,andskillednursingfacilities,includingthose
attachedtoacutecarehospitals,thatarelicensedbythe
Departmentorthathavefiledanapplicationtobelicensedbythe
Department.
Thisbillchangesthenumberofrequiredinspectionsfromonceper
yeartotwiceperyear.
