11orotherwisetransfersuchagriculturallandtoanyotheralienorforeignbusinessonor
12afterAugust28,2025. Nopersonmayholdagriculturallandasanagent,trustee,orother
13fiduciaryforanalienorforeignbusinessinviolationofsections442.560to442.592,
14provided,however,thatnosecurityinterestinsuchagriculturallandshallbedivestedor
15invalidatedbysuchviolation.

17sections442.560to442.592remainsinviolationofsections442.560to442.592foraslongas

intendedtobeomittedfromthelaw.Matterinbold-facetypeintheabovebillisproposedlanguage. 18[heorshe]thealienorforeignbusinessholdsaninterestintheland,provided,however,that
19nosecurityinterestinsuchagriculturallandshallbedivestedorinvalidatedbysuchviolation.
20 3.Subjecttotheprovisionsofsubsection1ofthissection,[such] allproposed
21[acquisitions] transfersonorafterAugust28,2025,bygrant,purchase,devise,descent,or
22otherwiseofanyinterestinagriculturallandheldbyanyalienorforeignbusinessinthis
23stateshallbesubmittedtothedepartmentofagriculturetodeterminewhethersuch
24[acquisition] transferofagriculturallandisconveyedinaccordancewiththe[onepercent
25restrictiononthetotalaggregate] prohibitiononalienandforeignownershipofagricultural
26landinthisstateunderthissection. Thedepartmentshallestablishbyruletherequirements
27forsubmissionandapprovalofrequestsunderthissubsection.

31 (a)Compilealistofagriculturallandinwhichaforeignbusinessholdsan

33 (b)NotifyeachsuchforeignbusinessbeforeJanuary1,2026,thatsuchforeign
34businessisrequiredunderthissectiontodivestanyinterestinagriculturallandbefore
35August28,2030,andthatfailuretodivestsuchinterestshallbereportedasaviolation
36undersection442.576;
37 (c)Trackthedivestingofallinterestsinagriculturallandlistedunderthis
38subsection;and
39 (d)OnAugust28,2030,reportanyfailuretodivestsuchinterestasaviolation
40undersection442.576.
41 (3)Thissubsectionshallnotbeconstruedtorequireanyforeignbusinessto
