46 (6)Thegeneralassembly,supremecourt,county,ormunicipalitymaybyrule, 47administrativeregulation,orordinanceprohibitorlimitthecarryingofconcealedfirearmsby 48permitholdersinthatportionofabuildingowned,leased,orcontrolledbythatunitof 49government.Anyportionofabuildinginwhichthecarryingofconcealedfirearmsis 50prohibitedorlimitedshallbeclearlyidentifiedbysignspostedattheentrancetotherestricted 51area.Thestatute,rule,orordinanceshallexemptanybuildingusedforpublichousingby 52privatepersons,highwaysorrestareas,firingranges,andprivatedwellingsowned,leased,or 53controlledbythatunitofgovernmentfromanyrestrictiononthecarryingorpossessionofa 54firearm.Thestatute,rule,orordinanceshallnotspecifyanycriminalpenaltyforitsviolation 55butmayspecifythatpersonsviolatingthestatute,rule,orordinancemaybedeniedentrance 56tothebuilding,orderedtoleavethebuildingandifemployeesoftheunitofgovernment,be 57subjectedtodisciplinarymeasuresforviolationoftheprovisionsofthestatute,rule,or 58ordinance.Theprovisionsofthissubdivisionshallnotapplytoanyotherunitofgovernment;
