WHEREAS,themembersoftheMissouriHouseofRepresentativesenjoyalong,
2proudtraditionoffulfillingtheirresponsibilitiestothecitizensofthisstatewhileupholding
3thevirtuesrepresentedbythe"GloryofMissouri":Knowledge,Liberty,Equality,Law,
4Justice,Fraternity,Education,Progress,Honor,Truth,Virtue,Temperance,Enterprise,and
5Charity;and

7 WHEREAS,thesevirtuesareengravedintheHouseChamberoftheStateCapitol
8withtheinscription:"Alltheforegoinghumanqualitiesbindintoonetheme,theGloryof
9Missouribecausenopeopleattainthesevirtuesunlesstheyaregreat";and

11 WHEREAS,the"GloryofMissouri"Awardwascreatedtoencouragethevaluesheld
12bytheearlyleadersofMissouriandtorecognizethosestandardsasexemplifiedinschools
13andcommunitiesbythisstate'syoungpeople,thefutureofMissouri:

15 NOWTHEREFORE BEITRESOLVEDthatwe,themembersoftheMissouri
16HouseofRepresentatives,OneHundredThirdGeneralAssembly,herebygrantpermissionto
17usetheHouseChamberforthepurposeofpresentingthe"GloryofMissouri"Awardstothe
18studentsofRiverbendMiddleSchool,St.ClairJuniorHighSchool,UnionMiddleSchool,
19andLonedellR-XIVSchoolonMonday,April28,2025,from10:00a.m.to12:00p.m;

21 BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthatthesponsorofthisHouseResolution,
22RepresentativeBradBanderman,orhisdesignee,shallbepresentintheHouseChamberand
23shallassumeresponsibilityforthegroup'sactionsforthedurationoftheaforementioned
24event.

26Specialnote:Participantsintheaforementionedeventshallconductthemselvesinamanner
27thatpreservesthedignityandhonoroftheHouseofRepresentatives.Suchpersonsshall
