AN ACT
To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to John Donaldson Day.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto 1
one new section, to be known as section 9.005, to read as 2
follows:3
9.005. February twentieth of each year shall be known 1
and designated as "John Donaldson Day" in Missouri. The 2
citizens of this state are encouraged to participate in 3
appropriate activities a nd events to commemorate the life 4
and accomplishments of John Donaldson, one of the best 5
pitchers to play in the Negro Leagues and a member of the 6
inaugural Kansas City Monarchs team. 7
