| 1 | 1 | | MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE 2022 1st Extraordinary Session To: Appropriations By: Senator(s) Hopson, Harkins, Younger, Turner-Ford, Williams, Branning, Bryan, Chassaniol, DeBar, Parker, Kirby Senate Bill 2002 (As Sent to Governor) AN ACT MAKING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE TRIPLE CROWN PROJECT FUND TO THE MISSISSIPPI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING THE PROJECTS DEFINED IN SECTION 57-75-5(f)(xxxi), FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING ON JULY 1, 2022, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2023. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Triple Crown Project Fund created in Senate Bill No. 2001, 2022 First Extraordinary Session, not otherwise appropriated, to the Mississippi Development Authority to fund projects defined in Section 57-75-5(f)(xxxi) as provided in House Bill No. 1, 2022 First Extraordinary Session, for the period beginning on July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023...... $ 81,105,000.00. SECTION 2. The money herein appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any money in the Triple Crown Project Fund not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer, and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers, in the manner provided by law. SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. |
