BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Coahoma County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to utilize a portion of its American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to make a contribution, during fiscal year 2025, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) to Clarksdale-Coahoma County Ministries, Inc., d/b/a Care Station, a 501(c)(3) organization, which provides needed meals, food and support to the citizens of the county. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. | |
