MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE 2025 Regular Session To: Rules By: Representative Scoggin House Concurrent Resolution 65 (As Adopted by House and Senate) A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE MEMBERS OF THE 2025 PHI THETA KAPPA'S ALL-MISSISSIPPI ACADEMIC TEAM AND CELEBRATING THEIR INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS. WHEREAS, members of Phi Theta Kappa, an esteemed honor society for community and junior colleges, which has its international headquarters in Jackson, Mississippi, will be acknowledged by the respective postsecondary educational institution of their attendance, celebrating their individual and collective academic accomplishments; and WHEREAS, special commendations are extended to the outstanding scholars who comprise Phi Theta Kappa's All-Mississippi Academic Team, a team of highly successful community and junior college students assembled by the Mississippi Community College Board, to participate in Phi Theta Kappa's All-Mississippi Academic Team Competition; and WHEREAS, it is with great pride that we recognize and commend the accomplishments of these students who have brought honor to their colleges and to the State of Mississippi: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That we do hereby commend and congratulate the members of Phi Theta Kappa's All-Mississippi Academic Team, celebrate their individual and collective academic accomplishments, and extend heartiest wishes for success in all their future endeavors.
