BRIANA MCELROY FOR HER REMARKABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN DIGITAL MARKETING AND FOR BEING NAMED LIONSGATE'S SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, HEAD OF WORLDWIDE DIGITAL MARKETING. WHEREAS, Briana McElroy, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, is a seasoned digital marketing executive with over 12 years of experience in leading and developing creative digital marketing campaigns; and WHEREAS, with a background in entertainment and technology, Mrs. McElroy brings a wealth of expertise to her current role as Lionsgate's Senior Vice President, Head of Worldwide Digital Marketing; and WHEREAS, as Lionsgate's Senior Vice President, Head of Worldwide Digital Marketing, Mrs. McElroy is responsible for overseeing the digital campaigns for all motion picture group releases, including recent titles "John Wick: Chapter 4", "Saw X", and "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes"; and WHEREAS, some of her work will also be featured in upcoming releases including the films "Michael", "From the World of John Wick: Ballerina", the third installment in the "Now You See Me" franchise, "The Housemaid", and "Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping"; and WHEREAS, prior to joining Lionsgate, Mrs. McElroy was a leader in Twitter's Media and Entertainment team, driving the company's global partnerships with Warner Bros. Discovery and The Walt Disney Company; and WHEREAS, before she worked for Twitter, Mrs. McElroy served as the Digital Marketing Director for Warner Bros. Pictures, leading successful marketing campaigns for films such as "Wonder Woman," "Kong: Skull Island," "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," "Annabelle: Creation," "Ocean's 8," "A Star is Born," and "POKMON Detective Pikachu"; and WHEREAS, Mrs. McElroy is an award-winning marketer recognized with 8 Clio Awards, including 4 Golds, a true testament to her talents and knowledge in the business; and WHEREAS, additionally, Mrs. McElroy received the Business Success Award from her alma mater, Belhaven University, in acknowledgment of her professional achievements, and as a sought-after public speaker, she has shared her expertise on panels at Sundance and Variety's Entertainment Marketing Summit, where she was celebrated as a Digital Innovator; and WHEREAS, Mrs. McElroy now resides in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, Josh, their daughter, Nola, and their two dogs, Fred and Murphy; and WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize and commend fine Mississippians, especially those such as Mrs. Briana McElroy, whose outstanding career and numerous successful campaigns have brought honor and glory to the City of Jackson and the State of Mississippi: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and congratulate Mrs. Briana McElroy for her remarkable accomplishments in digital marketing and for being named Lionsgate's Senior Vice President, Head of Worldwide Digital Marketing, and extend most sincere wishes for continued success in all her future endeavors.
