11 MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE 2025 Regular Session To: Rules By: Representatives Zuber, White, Anthony House Resolution 60 (As Adopted by House) A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE CREATION OF THE MISSISSIPPI-ISRAEL JOINT LEGISLATIVE CAUCUS. WHEREAS, it is with immense honor that we acknowledge and celebrate the creation of the Mississippi-Israel Joint Legislative Caucus with the aim of fostering and strengthening the long-standing diplomatic relationship and history that exists between the United States of America and Israel to the mutual benefit of both countries with leadership in all of the states; and WHEREAS, the esteemed caucus will reinforce the strong bilateral ties and shared values between the State of Mississippi and Israel, fostering mutual understanding and collaborative initiatives between the two governments; and WHEREAS, the specific goals of strengthening political, economic, and cultural bonds will be advantageous to both regions, resulting in advanced trade relations, enhanced educational exchanges, and profound cultural understanding to underscore and strengthen the overall relationship between Mississippi and Israel; and WHEREAS, the shared goals of the caucus will introduce opportunities for exchange and understanding between the two governments and their respective people: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we acknowledge and celebrate the creation of the Mississippi-Israel Joint Legislative Caucus, which highlights the pride and dignity of both nations' unified efforts to promote and the goals and purpose of the caucus are celebrated for the long-term impact that will benefit both the State of Mississippi and Israel. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to the National Co-Chairs of the American-Israel Legislative Caucus, forwarded to the Mississippi congressional delegation and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
