BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: SECTION 1. The following segments of roadway are designated as state highways and placed under the jurisdiction of the Mississippi Transportation Commission for construction and maintenance and, together with the highways designated in Section 65-3-3 and all other laws adding links to the designated highway system, are declared to be the state highway system of Mississippi: Central District-Hinds County: (a) The Interstate Highway 55 Pearl Street exit from Interstate Highway 55 to South State Street, including the access ramp to South Jefferson Street. (b) The Interstate Highway 55 Pascagoula Street entrance from South State Street to Interstate Highway 55, including the access ramp from South Jefferson Street. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2025. | |
