BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to contribute annually an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($10,500.00) in the aggregate, out of any available funds of the county, to the following 501(c)(3) charitable organizations operating food pantries: Hearts and Hands, Feeding Hearts, and Davis Temple Church of the Living God. (2) This section shall stand repealed from and after July 1, 2029. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. | |
