MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE 2025 Regular Session To: Rules By: Senator(s) Ladner, Thompson Senate Resolution 95 (As Adopted by Senate) A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING BAY HIGH LADY TIGERS GIRLS SOCCER TEAM AND COACH GRANT ADAM FOR WINNING THEIR FIRST CLASS 4A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. WHEREAS, the Bay St. Louis High School Lady Tigers Girls Soccer Team and Coach Grant Adam were part of a 2025 Mississippi Coast State Championship domination weekend in Jackson where five soccer teams from the coast secured State Championships; and WHEREAS, history was made by the Bay High Girls Soccer Team when the Lady Tigers captured their first title with a 2-1 win over West Lauderdale, handing them only their second loss of the year; and WHEREAS, the Lady Tigers rallied from a 1-0 second-half deficit to steal the win. Senior Lauren Feuerstein was named the match MVP. The Bay battled through an early season stretch that saw the team go six straight fames without a win before finishing the season with eight straight victories; and WHEREAS, the 2024-2025 Bay St. Louis High School Lady Tigers Girls Soccer Team Roster: Kamryn Lafontaine, Logan Pullin, Addison Tallent, Mia Middleton, Raelyn Adam, Addie Chester, Chloe Knight, Nadia Lewis, Madelyn Prendergast, Leia DeBlanc, Lauren Felder, MacKenzie Graham, Gabrielle Harris, Meredith Mauffray, Jalynn Herndon, Millie Brignone, Marleigh Workman, Lauren Feuerstein, Maddison Scott, Kyleigh Decrevel, Caroline Lagasse, Aurora Harper, Olivia Suddeth, Lucy Stevens, Ella DeBlanc, Southern Decamp, Ryleigh Dalton, Jenna Thornton and Brooklyn Borja; and Coach Grant Adam; and WHEREAS, it is with great pride that we recognize these student athletes who have brought honor to their team, their school, the Mississippi Gulf Coast and to the State of Mississippi: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and congratulate Bay High Lady Tigers Girls Soccer Team and Coach Grant Adam for winning their first Class 4A State Championship, and extend our best wishes to the team, coaches, parents and sponsors for future championships. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be presented to the Bay High Girls Soccer Team, forwarded to the Bay High Principal Warren Eyster and the Hancock County Board of Education, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
