1414 AN ACT TO ALLOW A STATE INCOME TAX DEDUCTION FOR GAMBLING LOSSES. 2
1515 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 3
1616 SECTION 1. G.S. 105-153.5(a)(2) reads as rewritten: 4
1717 "(a) Deduction Amount. – In calculating North Carolina taxable income, a taxpayer may 5
1818 deduct from adjusted gross income either the standard deduction amount provided in subdivision 6
1919 (1) of this subsection or the itemized deduction amount provided in subdivision (2) of this 7
