AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND H UMAN 2
SERVICES, DIVISION OF AGING AND ADULT SE RVICES, TO SUPPORT THE 3
NORTH CAROLINA SENIO R TAR HEEL LEGISLATURE. 4
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 5
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of 6
Health and Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services, the sum of thirty thousand 7
dollars ($30,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to be used to cover costs 8
associated with the operations of the North Carolina Senior Tar Heel Legislature created by 9
G.S. 143B-181.55. 10
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 11
