1315 AN ACT TO REMOVE CER TAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM THE CORPORA TE 2

1517 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
1618 SECTION 1. The following described property, identified by Brunswick County 5
17-Tax Office Parcel Number, is removed from the corporate limits of the Town of Oak Island: 6
18-220NA002; 220NA011; 220NA014; 220NA019; 220NA021; 220NA04401; 220NA053; 7
19-220NA082; 220NA101; 220NA104; and 220NA110. 8
20-SECTION 2. This act has no effect upon the validity of any liens of the Town of 9
21-Oak Island for ad valorem taxes or special assessments outstanding before the effective date of 10
22-this act. Such liens may be collected or foreclosed upon after the effective date of this act as 11
23-though the property were still within the corporate limits of the Town of Oak Island. 12
24-SECTION 3. This act becomes effective June 30, 2025. Property in the territory 13
25-described in Section 1 of this act as of January 1, 2025, is no longer subject to municipal taxes 14
26-for taxes imposed for taxable years beginning on or after July 1, 2025. 15
