| 26 | 25 | | or health clinic may serve in the role of school nurse and may not be required 13 |

| 27 | 26 | | to possess or promise to obtain any other certification or license as a condition 14 |

| 28 | 27 | | of serving in that role. Registered nurses employed by the governing body of 15 |

| 29 | 28 | | a public school unit as a school nurse shall be paid under the certified school 16 |

| 30 | 29 | | nurse pay scale as established by the State Board of Education." 17 |
