1414 AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO PERFORM A 2
1515 STUDY ON REDUCING TRAFFIC CONGESTION NEAR FORT BRAGG . 3
1616 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
1717 SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the Highway Fund to the Department of 5
1818 Transportation for the 2025-2026 fiscal year the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) 6
1919 in nonrecurring funds to be used by the Department to study and identify the economic benefits 7
2020 from reducing the traffic congestion on the portion of road between the intersection of Vass Road 8
2121 and N.C. Highway 87 and the entrance to Fort Bragg. The study shall include examining 9
2222 expanded rail routes and other surface transportation. 10
2323 SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 11
