13	13		A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
14	14		AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC PURPOSES IN WILSON 2
15	15		AND NASH COUNTIES. 3
16	16		The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
17	17		SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 5
18	18		Budget and Management the sum of sixty-one million three hundred thousand dollars 6
19	19		($61,300,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to provide directed grants as 7
20	20		follows: 8
21	21		(1) Two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000) to the Town of 9
22	22		Lucama for water infrastructure. 10
23	23		(2) Four million five hundred thousand dollars ($4,500,000) to the Town of 11
24	24		Stantonsburg for water and sewer projects. 12
25	25		(3) Five million dollars ($5,000,000) to Wilson County for allocation to the 13
26	26		County's volunteer fire departments. 14
27	27		(4) Fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000) to Wilson County for school 15
28	28		construction. 16
29	29		(5) Twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) to Wilson County for the construction 17
30	30		of a new courthouse. 18
31	31		(6) Eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) to Wilson County for the Sheriff's 19
32	32		Office Training Center. 20
33	33		(7) One million dollars ($1,000,000) to Wilson County to provide Narcan for the 21
34	34		Wilson County schools and Wilson County libraries. 22
35	35		(8) Eight million dollars ($8,000,000) to the Wilson Housing Authority. 23
36	36		(9) Three million dollars ($3,000,000) to Wilson County for the Wilson Ride 24
37	37		Program. 25
38	38		(10) One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) to the Town of 26
39	39		Sharpsburg for the construction of a new Police Department. 27
40	40		SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 28
