A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR A PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY IN HONOR OF 2
PRESIDENT DONALD JOHN TRUMP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA 3
AT PEMBROKE. 4
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 5
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors 6
of The University of North Carolina the sum of ten million dollars ($10,000,000) in nonrecurring 7
funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to be allocated to the University of North Carolina at 8
Pembroke (UNCP) to construct a presidential library in honor of President Donald John Trump. 9
UNCP may partner with the federal National Archives and Records Administration to the extent 10
necessary to complete the project. 11
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 12
