1414 AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN 2
1515 SERVICES, DIVISION OF CENTRAL MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT, OFFICE OF 3
1616 RURAL HEALTH, TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY HEALTH GRANT SUPPORT TO 4
1717 MECKLENBURG COUNTY. 5
1818 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 6
1919 SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of 7
2020 Health and Human Services, Division of Central Management and Support, Office of Rural 8
2121 Health, the sum of one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) in nonrecurring funds 9
2222 for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to be allocated as a directed grant to support the operations of Care 10
2323 Ring, Inc., a nonprofit community health clinic located in Mecklenburg County that provides 11
2424 primary care services to medically vulnerable residents who would otherwise be unable to receive 12
2525 needed primary care services due to geographic, economic, or other barriers. 13
2626 SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 14
