16	17		The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 5
17	18		SECTION 1.(a) The following described property, referenced by Granville County 6
18	19		Tax Office Parcel Identification Number, is added to the corporate limits of the City of 7

63	68		SECTION 1.(b) This section becomes effective June 30, 2025. Property in the 15
64	69		territory described in Section 1(a) of this act as of January 1, 2025, is subject to municipal taxes 16
65	70		for taxes imposed for taxable years beginning on or after July 1, 2025. 17
66	71		SECTION 2.(a) The following described property, identified by Granville County 18
67	72		Tax Property Identification Number, is removed from the corporate limits of the City of 19
68	73		Creedmoor: 180603417847. 20
69	74		SECTION 2.(b) This section has no effect upon the validity of any liens of the City 21
70	75		of Creedmoor for ad valorem taxes or special assessments outstanding before the effective date 22
71	76		of this section. Such liens may be collected or foreclosed upon after the effective date of this 23
72	77		section as though the property were still within the corporate limits of the City of Creedmoor. 24
73	78		SECTION 2.(c) This section becomes effective June 30, 2025. Property in the 25
74	79		territory described in Section 2(a) of this act as of January 1, 2025, is no longer subject to 26
75	80		municipal taxes for taxes imposed for taxable years beginning on or after July 1, 2025. 27
76	81		SECTION 3. Except as otherwise provided, this act is effective when it becomes 28
77	82		law. 29
