	8	+	A BILL for an Act to provide an appropriation to the North Dakota state college of science; and
	9	+	to declare an emergency.
	10	+	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
	11	+	SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION - NORTH DAKOTA STATE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE -
	12	+	ONE-TIME FUNDING. There is appropriated from other funds derived from gifts, grants,
	13	+	donations, and other local funds, the sum of $1,750,000, or so much of the sum as may be
	14	+	necessary, to the North Dakota state college of science for the purpose of constructing an
	15	+	artificial turf playing surface, for the period beginning with the effective date of this Act, and
	16	+	ending June 30, 2027. The funding appropriated in this section includes up to $250,000 from
	17	+	dining services auxiliary revenues. The funding appropriated in this section is considered a
	18	+	one-time funding item.
	19	+	SECTION 2. EMERGENCY. This Act is declared to be an emergency measure.
