8+A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact section 27-11-17 of the North Dakota Century Code,
9+relating to the state bar admission fee.
10+BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
11+SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 27-11-17 of the North Dakota Century Code is
12+amended and reenacted as follows:
13+27-11-17. Fee payable by all applicants for admission to bar - Disposition of fees.
14+The state board of law examiners is entitled to receive a fee to be determined by the board
15+with the approval of the supreme court of an amount not to exceed one hundred fiftytwo
16+hundred dollars from each applicant for admission to the bar of this state who submits to
17+examination by the board and a fee to be determined by the board with the approval of the
18+supreme court of an amount not to exceed four hundred dollars from each applicant for
19+admission to the bar of this state who seeks admission upon motion in accordance with state
20+law or supreme court rule. All fees received must be deposited and disbursed in accordance
21+with section 54-44-12.

8-BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
9-SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 27-11-17 of the North Dakota Century Code is amended and
10-reenacted as follows:
11-27-11-17. Fee payable by all applicants for admission to bar - Disposition of fees.
12-The state board of law examiners is entitled to receive a fee to be determined by the board with the
13-approval of the supreme court of an amount not to exceed one hundred fiftytwo hundred dollars from
14-each applicant for admission to the bar of this state who submits to examination by the board and a fee
15-to be determined by the board with the approval of the supreme court of an amount not to exceed four
16-hundred dollars from each applicant for admission to the bar of this state who seeks admission upon
17-motion in accordance with state law or supreme court rule. All fees received must be deposited and
