814 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
9-SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Subsection 1 of section 23-27-04 of the North Dakota Century Code is
10-amended and reenacted as follows:
15+SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Subsection 1 of section 23-27-04 of the North Dakota Century
16+Code is amended and reenacted as follows:
1117 1.An emergency medical services operation within this state may not operate unless the
12-operation is licensed in accordance withunder this chapter and. The department shall adopt
13-rules adopted by the department of health and human services. The rulesfor standards for
14-operators which must include:

2027 d.e.Equipment and ground vehicle standards.;
2128 e.f.Annual license fees.;
2229 f.g.Number of personnel required for each run.;
23-g.h.The scope of practice for uncertified drivers, certified personnel, and emergency medical
24-services professionals.;
30+g.h.The scope of practice for uncertified drivers, certified personnel, and emergency
31+medical services professionals.;
2532 h.i.Performance standards, which may include response time standards.; and
26-i.j.Other requirements as may be found necessary to carry out the intentrequirements of
