FISCAL NOTE LEGISLATIVE FISCAL ANALYST ESTIMATE ESTIMATE OF FISCAL IMPACT – STATE AGENCIES (See narrative for political subdivision estimates) FY 2025-26 FY 2026-27 EXPENDITURES REVENUE EXPENDITURES REVENUE GENERAL FUNDS CASH FUNDS FEDERAL FUNDS OTHER FUNDS TOTAL FUNDS Any Fiscal Notes received from state agencies and political subdivisions are attached following the Legislative Fiscal Analyst Estimate. LB323 would amend Nebraska §39-1348 to allow the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) to publish notices of upcoming contract opportunities with an estimated cost of more than $250,000 on an NDOT officially designated webpage. This could be done in lieu of advertising for these sealed bids in the newspaper . Also, this bill would modify Nebraska §39-1355 for NDOT’s authority to construct a building, by increasing the dollar threshold to not exceed the adjusted limit for capital construction projects specified in Nebraska §81-1114. The NDOT has indicated no fiscal impact. There is no basis to disagree with this estimation. ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES STATE BUDGET DIVISION: REVIEW OF AGENCY & POLT. SUB.
