The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB453 clarifies that the Nebraska State Patrol is able to utilize the Federal Bureau of
Investigations national background check system for purposes of background checks for
individuals applying or appointed to be a guardian or conservator.€
