The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB499 expands membership on the Crime Victims Reparations Committee from three public
members to five public members and changes the requirements of such members. It also
provides for a staggering of terms for the members serving on the committee.€
