The ordinance shall set the fee per kilogram of spent nuclear fuel to be charged pursuant to this section. The fee shall not exceed $15.00 per kilogram. b. The amount of the annual fee shall be equal to the number of kilograms of spent nuclear fuel stored at the decommissioned nuclear power plant multiplied by the fee per kilogram established in the ordinance approved by the governing body of the eligible municipality pursuant to subsection a. of this section. c. The annual fee permitted to be imposed by this section shall be used by the eligible municipality solely to reduce the municipal property tax levy. 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
