SYNOPSIS

     Directs DEP to waive walk-in and bicycle entrance fees to State parks and forests during certain holidays.

     As introduced.

   

 An Act concerning certain entrance fees to State parks and forests and supplementing Title 13 of the Revised Statutes.        Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:        1.  The department shall not charge a walk-in or bicycle admission fee for entrance into a State park or forest to any person on Memorial Day weekend, the week of the Fourth of July, or Labor Day weekend.          2. This act shall take effect one year after the date of enactment.     STATEMENT        This bill would direct the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to waive walk-in and bicycle admission fees for State parks and forests on Memorial Day weekend, the week of the Fourth of July, or Labor Day weekend.  The bill would take effect one year after the date of enactment of the bill.

STATEMENT
