3859 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
39-SECTION 1. Section 61-14-20 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1979,
40-Chapter 76, Section 2, as amended) is amended to read:
41-"61-14-20. TERMINATION OF AGENCY LIFE--DELAYED
42-REPEAL.--The board of veterinary medicine is terminated on
43-July 1, 2029 pursuant to the Sunset Act. The board shall
44-continue to operate according to the provisions of Chapter
45-61, Article 14 and Chapter 77, Article 1B NMSA 1978 until
46-July 1, 2030. Effective July 1, 2030, Chapter 61, Article 14
47-and Chapter 77, Article 1B NMSA 1978 are repealed."
48-SECTION 2. Section 61-15-13 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1979,
49-Chapter 362, Section 10, as amended by Laws 2017, Chapter 52,
50-Section 6 and by Laws 2017, Chapter 107, Section 8) is

79-REPEAL.--The board of examiners for architects is terminated
80-on July 1, 2029 pursuant to the provisions of the Sunset Act.
81-The board shall continue to operate according to the
82-provisions of the Architectural Act until July 1, 2030.
83-Effective July 1, 2030, the Architectural Act is repealed."
84-SECTION 3. Section 61-23-32 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1987,
85-Chapter 336, Section 32, as amended by Laws 2017, Chapter 42,
86-Section 19 and by Laws 2017, Chapter 52, Section 7) is
87-amended to read:
88-"61-23-32. TERMINATION OF AGENCY LIFE--DELAYED
89-REPEAL.--The state board of licensure for professional
90-engineers and professional surveyors is terminated on July 1,
91-2029 pursuant to the Sunset Act. The board shall continue to
92-operate according to the provisions of the Engineering and
93-Surveying Practice Act until July 1, 2030. Effective July 1,
94-2030, the Engineering and Surveying Practice Act is
95-repealed."
96-SECTION 4. Section 61-27B-36 NMSA 1978 (being Laws
97-2007, Chapter 115, Section 35, as amended) is amended to
98-read:
99-"61-27B-36. TERMINATION OF AGENCY LIFE--DELAYED
100-REPEAL.--The private investigations advisory board is
101-terminated on July 1, 2029 pursuant to the Sunset Act. The

136-REPEAL.--The New Mexico public accountancy board is
137-terminated on July 1, 2029 pursuant to the provisions of the
138-Sunset Act. The board shall continue to operate according to
139-the provisions of the 1999 Public Accountancy Act until July
140-1, 2030. Effective July 1, 2030, the 1999 Public Accountancy
141-Act is repealed."
142-SECTION 6. Section 61-30-24 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1993,
143-Chapter 269, Section 21, as amended) is amended to read:
144-"61-30-24. TERMINATION OF AGENCY LIFE--DELAYED
145-REPEAL.--The real estate appraisers board is terminated
146-effective July 1, 2029. The Real Estate Appraisers Act shall
147-continue in effect until July 1, 2030. Chapter 61, Article
148-30 NMSA 1978 is repealed effective July 1, 2030."
149-SECTION 7. Section 61-32-31 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1993,

187-1979, Chapter 385, Section 2, Laws 1979, Chapter 266, Section
188-2 and Laws 1993, Chapter 158, Section 30, as amended) are
189-repealed.
