49	49	RELATING TO THE LEGISLATURE; AMENDING A SECTION OF THE NMSA
50	50	1978 CONCERNING THE INTRODUCTION OF LEGISLATION.
51	51	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
52	52	SECTION 1. Section 2-6-1 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1961,
53	53	Chapter 2, Section 1, as amended) is amended to read:
54	54	"2-6-1. LIMIT ON THE TIME WITHIN WHICH BILLS MAY BE
55	55	[INTRODUCED] FILED.--[A.] Legislation shall not be accepted for
56	56	filing until after the beginning of the prohibited period for
57	57	soliciting campaign contributions provided for in Section
58	58	1-19-34.1 NMSA 1978
59	59	[B. No bill shall be introduced at any regular
60	60	session of the legislature subsequent to the thirtieth
61	61	legislative day in sessions held in the odd-numbered years or
62	62	subsequent to the fifteenth legislative day in sessions held in
