49	49	MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE NEW
50	50	MEXICO HEALTH SERVICE CORPS TO SUPPORT THE RECRUITMENT AND

54	54	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
55	55	SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five million dollars
56	56	($5,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
57	57	department of health for expenditure in fiscal years 2026 and
58	58	2027 for the New Mexico health service corps to support the
59	59	recruitment and retention of health care providers who treat
60	60	rural or underserved populations or patients of federally
61	61	qualified health centers; provided that no more than two
62	62	hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) may be expended for
