50	50	MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TO
51	51	PROVIDE STIPENDS TO UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE BEHAVIORAL
52	52	HEALTH STUDENTS THAT ARE COMPLETING TRAINING, SUPERVISION OR
53	53	EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN PROFESSIONAL

55	55	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
56	56	SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars
57	57	($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
58	58	higher education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2026
59	59	to provide stipends to undergraduate and graduate behavioral
60	60	health students that are completing training, supervision or
61	61	experiential requirements necessary to obtain professional
62	62	licensure. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
63	63	the end of fiscal year 2026 shall revert to the general fund.
