49	49	RELATING TO CHILDREN; CREATING A TRAUMA-INFORMED PRACTICE USING
50	50	AUTOBIOGRAPHIES TO TEACH CHILDREN TO RETELL THEIR STORIES TO
51	51	SUPPORT LANGUAGE AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
52	52	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
53	53	SECTION 1. A new section of the Children, Youth and
54	54	Families Department Act is enacted to read:
55	55	"[NEW MATERIAL] AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL STORYTELLING AS A TRAUMA-
56	56	INFORMED STRATEGY.--The department shall:
57	57	A. contract with speech-language pathologists to
58	58	provide training and workshops to families and case workers and
59	59	to develop language support and emotional development services
60	60	to support language development and coherent storytelling
61	61	skills with children in foster care using family experiences in
62	62	mathematics, science or history exploration as the context and
