29	38		RECOGNIZING VICTIMS OF VIOLENT CRIME AND THEIR FAMILIES AND
30	39		HONORING THEIR LOSSES.
31		-	WHEREAS, lives lost to senseless acts of violence

33		-	WHEREAS, each life lost represents a story, a family and
34		-	a dream left unfulfilled; and

	42	+	WHEREAS, each life lost represents a story, a family and a
	43	+	dream left unfulfilled; and
35	44		WHEREAS, victims of violent crime would like to educate
36	45		the public and policymakers about the impact of murder and
37	46		other violent crime on families and communities; and
38	47		WHEREAS, the diverse contributions of the survivors'
39	48		movement should be recognized; and
40		-	WHEREAS, New Mexico stands in solidarity with the
41		-	families and loved ones who carry the weight of unimaginable
42		-	loss and whose strength in the face of grief is a testament
43		-	to the enduring power of love and remembrance;
44		-	NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
45		-	REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that victims of
46		-	violent crime be recognized, honored and remembered by
47		-	ensuring that their lives will never be forgotten and their
48		-	legacies will inspire change and by fostering communities of
49		-	peace, support and justice; and
50		-	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be
