2950 RELATING TO PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE; EXTENDING SUNSET DATES OF
3051 CERTAIN BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
3152 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
3253 SECTION 1. Section 61-13-17 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1978,
3354 Chapter 206, Section 1, as amended) is amended to read:
3455 "61-13-17. TERMINATION OF AGENCY LIFE--DELAYED
35-REPEAL.--The board of nursing home administrators is
36-terminated on July 1, 2035 pursuant to the Sunset Act. The
37-board shall continue to operate according to the provisions
38-of Chapter 61, Article 13 NMSA 1978 until July 1, 2036.
39-Effective July 1, 2036, Chapter 61, Article 13 NMSA 1978
56+REPEAL.--The board of nursing home administrators is terminated
57+on July 1, [2025] 2031 pursuant to the Sunset Act. The board
58+shall continue to operate according to the provisions of
59+Chapter 61, Article 13 NMSA 1978 until July 1, [2026 ] 2032.
60+Effective July 1, [2026 ] 2032, Chapter 61, Article 13 NMSA 1978
4061 is repealed."
41-SECTION 2. Section 61-17A-25 NMSA 1978 (being
42-Laws 1993, Chapter 171, Section 27, as amended) is amended to
43-read:
44-"61-17A-25. TERMINATION OF AGENCY LIFE--DELAYED
45-REPEAL.--The board of barbers and cosmetologists is
46-terminated on July 1, 2035 pursuant to the Sunset Act. The
47-board shall continue to operate according to the provisions
48-of the Barbers and Cosmetologists Act until July 1, 2036.
49-Effective July 1, 2036, the Barbers and Cosmetologists Act
50-is repealed."
51-SECTION 3. Section 61-24B-17 NMSA 1978 (being SB 113

86-SECTION 4. Section 69-25A-36 NMSA 1978 (being
87-Laws 1987, Chapter 333, Section 14, as amended) is amended to
88-read:

104+Landscape Architects Act until July 1, [2026 ] 2032. Effective
