29	49		RELATING TO GAMING; REQUIRING THAT GAMING MACHINES MEET THE
30	50		STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF STATE LAWS AND RULES.
31	51		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
32	52		SECTION 1. Section 60-2E-44 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1997,
33	53		Chapter 190, Section 46, as amended) is amended to read:
34	54		"60-2E-44. MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS.--To be eligible for
35	55		licensure, each gaming machine shall meet all specifications
36		-	established by rules of the board and:
	56	+	established by [regulations ] rules of the board and:
37	57		A. be unable to be manipulated in a manner that
38		-	affects the random probability of winning plays or in any
39		-	~~other~~ manner determined by the board to be undesirable;
	58	+	affects the random probability of winning plays or in any other
	59	+	manner determined by the board to be undesirable;
40	60		B. have at least one mechanism that accepts coins
41	61		or currency;
42	62		C. be capable of having play suspended through the
43		-	central system by the executive director until the executive
44		-	director resets the gaming machine;

46		-	accessible locked area of the gaming machine that maintain a
47		-	record of all money inserted into the machine, all cash
48		-	payouts of winnings, all refunds of winnings, all credits
49		-	played for additional games and all credits won by players;
50		-	E. be capable of printing out, at the request of
51		-	the executive director, readings on the electronic meters of SB 303
