49	49	MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO ECONOMIC
50	50	DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT.
51	51	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
52	52	SECTION 1. APPROPRIATIONS.--
53	53	A. The following amounts are appropriated from the
54	54	general fund to the local government division of the department
55	55	of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year
56	56	2026 and subsequent fiscal years for the north central New
57	57	Mexico economic development district:
58	58	(1) two million dollars ($2,000,000) to
59	59	provide grants for housing planning and design to public
60	60	entities in the north central New Mexico economic development
61	61	district in fiscal year 2026 and subsequent fiscal years; and
62	62	(2) thirty-five million dollars ($35,000,000)

94	94	B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
95	95	at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general
96	96	fund. No more than ten percent of the appropriations shall be
97	97	used by the department for administering the grants.
