52	52	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
53	53	SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
54	54	dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the government results
55	55	and opportunity program fund to the public education department
56	56	for expenditure in fiscal year 2026 to contract with a national
57	57	organization that publishes official guidelines for
58	58	cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency cardiovascular care
59	59	to train educational personnel in rural school districts to use
60	60	defibrillators in a cardiac emergency. Any unexpended or
61	61	unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2026
62	62	shall revert to the government results and opportunity program
