17 | 17 | | the 2023-2024 interim concerning state agencies that regulate natural resources in |

18 | 18 | | this State. The study must include, without limitation, an examination of the |

19 | 19 | | composition, mission and scope of such state agencies. The Committee must |
---|
20 | 20 | | examine, without limitation, the Board of Wildlife Commissioners, the |
---|
21 | 21 | | Commission on Mineral Resources, the State Department of Conservation and |
---|
22 | 22 | | Natural Resources and the State Environmental Commission. Further, the |

23 | 23 | | Committee must submit a report of its findings and any recommendations for |
---|
24 | 24 | | legislation relating to the study to the 83rd Session of the Nevada Legislature. |

32 | 32 | | Section 1. 1. The Joint Interim Standing Committee on |

33 | 33 | | Natural Resources shall conduct a study during the 2023-2024 |
---|
34 | 34 | | interim concerning state agencies that regulate natural resources. |
---|
35 | 35 | | 2. The study must include, without limitation, the examination |
---|
36 | 36 | | of the composition, mission and scope of state agencies that regulate |
---|
37 | 37 | | natural resources in this State. |

38 | 38 | | 3. The Committee shall examine, without limitation: |

39 | 39 | | (a) The Board of Wildlife Commissioners; |
---|
40 | 40 | | (b) The Commission on Mineral Resources; |
---|
41 | 41 | | (c) The State Department of Conservation and Natural |
---|
42 | 42 | | Resources; and |
---|
43 | 43 | | (d) The State Environmental Commission. |

46 | 46 | | required by subsection 4 of NRS 218E.330 to be prepared and |
