SUMMARY—Makes an appropriation to The Immigrant Home 
Foundation to provide mental health services and

AN ACT making an appropriation to The Immigrant Home 
Foundation to provide mental health services and legal 
assistance to victims of domestic violence; and providing 
other matters properly relating thereto. 
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN 
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 
 
 Section 1.  1.  There is hereby appropriated from the State 1 
General Fund to The Immigrant Home Foundation for providing 2 
mental health services and legal assistance to victims of domestic 3 
violence the following sums: 4 
For the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 .................................. $250,000 5 
For the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 .................................. $250,000 6 
 2.  Upon acceptance of the money appropriated by subsection 1, 7 
The Immigrant Home Foundation agrees to: 8 
 (a) Prepare and transmit a report to the Interim Finance 9 
Committee on or before December 18, 2026, that describes each 10 
expenditure made from the money appropriated by subsection 1 11

from the date on which the money was received by The Immigrant 1 
Home Foundation through December 1, 2026; 2 
 (b) Prepare and transmit a final report to the Interim Finance 3 
Committee on or before September 17, 2027, that describes each 4 
expenditure made from the money appropriated by subsection 1 5 
from the date on which the money was received by The Immigrant 6 
Home Foundation through June 30, 2027; and 7 
 (c) Upon request of the Legislative Commission, make available 8 
to the Legislative Auditor any of the books, accounts, claims, 9 
reports, vouchers or other records of information, confidential or 10 
otherwise, of The Immigrant Home Foundation, regardless of their 11 
form or location, that the Legislative Auditor deems necessary to 12 
conduct an audit of the use of the money appropriated by  13 
subsection 1. 14 
 3. The sums appropriated by subsection 1 are available for 15 
either fiscal year. Any remaining balance of those sums must not be 16 
committed for expenditure after June 30, 2027, by the entity to 17 
which the appropriation is made or any entity to which money from 18 
the appropriation is granted or otherwise transferred in any manner, 19 
and any portion of the appropriated money remaining must not be 20 
spent for any purpose after September 17, 2027, by either the entity 21 
to which the money was appropriated or the entity to which the 22 
money was subsequently granted or transferred, and must be 23 
reverted to the State General Fund on or before September 17, 2027. 24 
 Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective on July 1, 2025. 25
