Prohibits the installation of certain security devices used to control access to common areas of a residential building without the written permission of the owners, board of managers, board of directors, or authorized party of such property.
Provides that if the net balance of the reimbursement account exceeds two million five hundred thousand dollars, any amount over two million five hundred thousand dollars shall be transferred to the proprietary vocational school supervision account.
Requires child protective services to orally and in writing disclose certain information to parents and caretakers who are the subject of a child protective services investigation; requires such oral and written disclosure to contain certain information regarding the rights of the person under investigation.
Relates to mental health services required to be covered by certain insurance policies; removes the requirement that services from creative arts therapists be covered by certain policies.
Requires owners and agents of multiple residences and multiple dwellings to provide names and contact information of residents to emergency personnel upon the request of such personnel, where the physical safety of such residents must be accounted for by ascertaining their whereabouts.
Amends procedures required for the custodial interrogation of children to provide additional protections and for taking juveniles and sixteen and seventeen year olds into custody.
Prohibits the use of lead ammunition in the taking of wildlife on wildlife management areas, state forests, forest preserves, state parks or any other state-owned land that is open for hunting and on land contributing surface water to the New York city water supply.
Relates to exempting certain non-profit community gardens from payment for water usage and supply; exempts non-profit community gardens located on property in the city of New York and registered with and licensed by such city's department of parks and recreation from payment for water usage and supply.
Expands eligibility for victims and survivors of crime to access victim compensation funds by removing the mandatory law enforcement reporting requirement, providing alternative forms of evidence that would show that a qualifying crime was committed and the confidentiality of certain records.
